1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the EAST platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable policies. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement to use the platform.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Platform services

EAST provides a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers. EAST does not provide transportation services directly.

5. Fees and payment

Fares and fees are shown before you confirm a trip. You agree to pay all applicable charges, taxes, and fees associated with your use of the services.

Rider and courier payments are cash-only. Wallet topups are available to ride and courier drivers and are funded by PayPal or in-app giftcards. PayPal is used only to fund driver wallets and is not a direct ride payment method.

Drivers pay a 15% platform fee on completed trips. Driver earnings are not paid on a weekly schedule; drivers collect cash fares. Ride and courier drivers can top up an EAST wallet funded by PayPal or giftcards. Tolls and surcharges (such as after-hours or courier handling) are shown before confirmation.

6. Driver responsibilities

• Maintain valid licensing, insurance, and vehicle standards.
• Provide professional service and follow local regulations.
• Report incidents promptly through the app.

7. Rider responsibilities

• Provide accurate pickup and dropoff information.
• Follow safety instructions and community guidelines.
• Treat drivers with respect and comply with policies.

8. Safety and conduct

EAST reserves the right to suspend accounts for unsafe conduct, fraud, or violations of community guidelines.

9. Communications

By using the platform, you consent to receive service-related messages and notifications. You can manage preferences in the app settings.

10. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. EAST may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.

11. Disclaimers

Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. EAST disclaims all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

EAST is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.

13. Dispute resolution

Disputes will be handled according to applicable local laws and the dispute resolution procedures outlined by EAST.
